$1,875

Seller note:

Bought a new motor at the boat show. This one needs to go to a good home! 110 HP, 90 degree V4 Evinrude, 1988, Canadian motor made in Peterborough, ON. 20" shaft, power tilt. I am the original owner. Very low hours, 105 hours up until I put it on another boat in 2013. Not used from 2006 through 2012. Have put about 45 hours on the motor during the 2013 and 2014 boating seasons, so total hours around 150. Have always used Amsoil synthetic pre-mix oil, and have always used Amsoil synthetic gear lube, until the lower unit had a new upper seal installed in 2013. Since putting the motor back in service, I have only used premium fuel, no ethanol. No major work on motor before 2013. Work on motor since:
Repairs/Maintenance in 2013 - Fuel pump replaced and carbs re-built after fuel pump pumped carbs full of oil, with no fuel. VRO disconnected at recommendation of marina. VRO system could easily be re-connected. Most of the fuel lines replaced, new fuel filter. Gear case tested, upper seal for gear case replaced and water pump impeller replaced by Mobile Marine, Huntsville.
Repairs/Maintenance in 2014 - Tune up including carb synchronizing, ignition timing set, new spark plugs, by Mobile Marine, Huntsville. Compression reported as good. This motor has a lot of life left in it!
I started re-painting last year, using BRP paint. Completed silver blue paint on top of motor cover, and plastic piece under bottom shroud ofmotor.
Motor will come with original controls and cables (cables need replacing), hour meter, steel fuel tank, fuel hose, VRO tank and hose, and 19" pitch OMC aluminum prop. Will also include paint, 3 cans of Silver Blue, BRP P/N [removed phone], 1 can of XP Dark Blue BRP P/N [removed phone] and one can of Moeller - Zinc Chromate primer for aluminum surfaces.
Personally I preferred the low RPM behaviour of the motor with the VRO operating, but I understand the risks associated with a failure of the VRO system, and the lack or warning for anything but low oil in the tank. Otherwise, this motor performs like new. I have found one test report at boat test.com, for a 2011 equivalent of the 2013 Glastron MX-180 it is presently mounted on. Test was done with a 115 HP etec Evinrude. I have done performance testing with the GPS on my tablet, and achieved a top speed of 41.65 MPH with the 17" SST prop and 41.58 MPH with the 19" SST prop. 0-20 with 17" prop was about 3.5 seconds, and over 330 ft, was at 38.2 MPH, taking 9.8 seconds. The numbers are very close to the test results at boat test, and well within the level of accuracy on can expect from these tests.
Motor is on the boat, and was just taken out of storage. It will be available from May 2 through May 10, in Wasaga Beach for testing, before it gets taken off the boat to install the new motor.
I will take some pictures with the cover off, before the weekend.
While I have described the condition of the motor to the best of my ability and knowledge, motor and accessories are being sold as-is, with no warranty.
